| Danessa Luna is the founder of the Generando Association. Initially, she oversaw the design and implementation of the project’s central focus on young women. Now, she leads their fundraising efforts and monitors the implementation of projects. The priorities of the association continue to focus on leadership, empowerment and teaching adolescent girls’ how to defend their human rights. She studied Sociology at San Carlos University in Guatemala. |

| Diego Mejía Calel is a Technical Coordinator for Children’s Hope Foundation (CHILDHOPE). He works for the elimination of child labor in Guatemala and to promote adolescent sexual and reproductive health. He is currently obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Social Sciences at the Universidad Mariano Gálvez in Guatemala. He belongs to the Quiche Mayan ethnic group Kiche. |

She has a degree in Social Work with emphasis on Development Management, a degree in Politics and Citizenship Education and a diploma in Christian spirituality. She is also a member of Young Christian Workers of America-JOCA. |

| Eunice Ramirez is a Social Worker specializing in rural communities and is a graduate of the University of San Carlos in Guatemala. Eunice is an active feminist working on youth and gender issues. She is the founder of Allied Youth Kan, a young women’s group advocating for sexual and reproductive rights in the township of Olintepeque. She was also a 2009 Fellow in PHI’s GOJoven program, which focuses on youth leadership in sexual and reproductive health. |

| Eva Patricia Chuc Choxom works for the Association for Community Development (ACPDCP) promoting sexual and reproductive health and advocating on behalf of adolescent girls in rural indigenous communities in Totonicapán. She is currently working on a program that would improve access to health and education for adolescent girls. |

| Gladys Fabiola Leiva works for the New Horizons Association as a facilitator. Her job is to provide comprehensive care by informing, sensitizing and training women’s groups, educational establishments and youth groups about their human rights. |

| José Coti is a Program Manager with ASECSA (Association for Community Service) in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. He is in charge of organizational relations and oversees their political advocacy efforts working to improve the health, education, socio-economic status and quality of life for adolescent girls and young women, with a focus on youth leadership. José has a degree in Communications from San Carlos University. |

| Juan Gilberto Escobar Reyes has worked with Proyecto Payaso in HIV prevention and education, as well as with an association of people with disabilities using popular education techniques. He has been active in community mobilization and development, as well as local policy advocacy. Gilberto recently joined the local organization of traditional midwives of Quetzaltenango, where he also supports the midwifery school. Gilberto is also a 2009 GOJoven Fellow. |

| Manuela García Pu has worked as AGALI’s Country Coordinator in Guatemala since 2010. She is a 2004 GOJoven Fellow and a Ford Foundation Fellow. During her fellowship she studied for her Master’s Degree in International Humanitarian Aid in Bilbao, Spain. She returned to Guatemala in 2088. In addition to her work with AGALI, Manuela is a consultant for various organizations in Guatemala such as Medicus Mundi and the Association for Community Development (ACPDC). |

| Maynor Roberto Morales Coroxon is an actor and entertainer, and works in political advocacy on diverse issues including health, the environment, and the preservation of the Mayan culture. He is a traditional Mayan medicine man (Ajq’ij) and provides relevant consultation services to different organizations in his community who support sexual and reproductive for adolescent girls and youth. He was a GOJoven Fellow in 2005. |
